Welcome
Comfort
I have found this lovely sheltered seat which faces the bass straight at the mouth of the Emu River in Burnie. I’ve taken to riding there and just spending some time being in the moment or writing in my journal. This activity brings me great comfort.
cheers Kate

Vitality
vi·tal·i·ty
Hi Kellie,
We have launched vitality now too. Last weekend we went to an Organic and Sustainable Living Festival, we listened to some great speakers, enjoyed crowd watching and ate some delicious food. It was a gorgeous day (been like winter here since). I decided after looking through their great veggie patch to leave vitality in a flower in the zucchini plant.
Cheers Kate.
Snug
It seems we may be the only state in the country that is having a taste of wintery weather. The first day of Autumn and it is grey and rainy outside.
A snug day to stay indoors and get crafty with an enthusiastic little Blossom. These past few weeks Bloss and I have been rummaging our way from Op (thrift) shop to Op shop building up supplies while her two big sisters are in Kinder.
I have wanted to make the girls their very own sewing basket for sometime now and think we are almost there. We have found some real treasures, from wooden cotton reels, loads of coloured yarn, silk and crochet beads, wooden pegs and an entire jar of vintage buttons to get us started.
Today we made wooden peg people. Bloss cut little clothes for them and stuck masses of curly hair upon their heads. Then we played, our peg people spent the morning walking the long tight rope Bloss made from string.
Home of happiness 116 has been released by the lovely guest Kate today, our first home in Tasmania! We are so grateful for the interest people take in this little space and enjoy reading about each delightful release.
Thank you Kate!

(Guest Release)
Hi Kellie,
There was much excitement (mostly from me) when we received our homes in the mail yesterday. Such gorgeous paper that you made the envelope out of.
My children decided that snug was the ideal word to leave in the local library. As we were off to the library after school we took snug with us and Mahalia found a knitting book with some rather snug looking wrist warmers in it so that is where we left it. Hopefully with winter fast approaching someone will borrow the book and get a nice surprise. Snug is in the Wynyard library.
cheers Kate.
